Daley Street Dental

Our Story

Part of the Alstonville Community for Over 65 Years

We welcome you to our practice and invite you to experience dentistry that has a distinct Alstonville style that our patients love – and we’re sure you will too.

Daley Street Dental was originally established under the name of Alstonville Dental by Dr Ogg, who moved to the area from West Australia in the early 1960s.

Dr Brian Chappell took over for around seven years until Dr Brian Redmayne purchased the practice in the mid-1970s. In true family-owned style, Dr Redmayne was, in fact, cousins with Brian, who left dentistry to follow a passion for teaching science in 1984.

After 36 years of practice ownership, Dr Redmayne has passed the baton onto husband-and-wife team, Dr Kieran McNamara and Dr Marta Kozera. Dr Redmayne will continue to work in the practice on a full-time basis with the same availability but without the administrative duties. Dr Andrew Sharpe and Dr Eleonor Robertson remain working at the practice as they had done for the previous ten years just with extended opening hours to fit all five providers in the one three chair practice.

In 2023 Dr Kieran and Dr Marta embarked on a major renovation that involved transforming the previous converted federation home into an architecturally designed state of the art five chair dental clinic.  With the addition space we were able to incorporate a CT machine, dedicated staff rooms, upgrade the sterilization room, create an onsite 3D printing facility as well as enlarging the reception and upgrading the existing onsite parking area. This expansion also allowed Daley Street Dental to get closer to meeting the demand on dental services as we were able to add another dentist (Dr Jefferson Berlt) and Oral Health Therapist (Alana Kenedy) to the existing team of five dentists.
