Dr Marta Kozera

Dr Marta Kozera is an experienced, patient, and dedicated clinician who loves practising all aspects of family dentistry and truly cares about each of her patients.

Taking over Alstonville Dental in 2021 with her husband Kieran, she is excited to call the Northern Rivers home.

Dr Kozera graduated from Sydney University with honours in Paediatric Dentistry and was awarded the Anthony P Martin Prize, the highest honour in the final year of Clinical Endodontics.

She trained in the Newcastle Hunter region, both in public and private health, including a dedicated paediatric dental clinic. She went on to practice privately in both Goondiwindi and, most recently, Brisbane.

Having three young boys herself, she loves treating children and their families. She also loves easing the anxieties of her more nervous patients, and she prides herself on making them feel relaxed so they can have a more enjoyable experience. 

Dr Kozera has completed a two-year Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics at James Cook University, allowing her to address orthodontic concerns in children and adults. Dr Kozera is currently no longer taking new orthodontic patients but is happy to assess, offer guidance and refer her patients with orthodontic concerns to help them achieve the best smile.

In her spare time, Dr Kozera is enjoying getting back into fitness and taking her boys to many sporting events. You can also find her enjoying a good cup of coffee and taking in the natural surroundings that the region has to offer with her family.
